On the 10th of March 2024, the 7th round of the exciting IAME Series UAE concluded at Rak Track in the city of Ras Al Khaimah.
The karting races, powered by IAME engines, saw top drivers battling it out in various categories.
The top three contenders in each category are as follows:
In the MINI category, the winner was Achilleas Peruzzi (#116) who completed 17 laps with a total time of 13:39.082, boasting the best lap of 45.005. Jack Doe (#100) came in second with a total time of 13:49.616. Darek Rivera rounded out the top three finishing with a total time of 13:51.778.
In the KZ category, Sultan Kurdali (#523) seized victory, completing a total of 21 laps in 14:50.730. Saif Al Qubaisi (#531) and Marcelo Cosas (#528) placed second and third respectively.
In the JUNIOR category, Theo Palmer (#244) took the lead with a total time of 13:41.112 for 19 laps. Close behind him were Zain El Hommossany (#295) and Kaiden Higgins (#257) who secured the second and third positions respectively.
Meanwhile, in the SENIOR/MASTER category, Adam Al Azhari (#311) emerged victorious in 21 laps with a total time of 14:27.508. Following him were Rafael Jesus (#308) and August Raber (#329) coming in at second and third place.
In the BAMBINO category, young Liam Ohanlon (#22) led the race, completing 11 laps in a total time of 10:36.241. Abdulaziz Alsarraf (#56) followed in second position, and Tadeas Prochazka (#95) took third place.
For these champions, not only did they win the race, they also earned entry tickets to the prestigious IWF24 event. The IWF24 is due to be held in Valencia from the 4th to the 9th of November, 2024. The event promises to be an outstanding showcase of karting talent. We look forward to witnessing our UAE champions perform on an international platform.
