Circuit Description

NMK Haugaland is one of Norway's most active go-kart clubs and is based at Årabrot just outside the center of Haugesund. We attach great importance to integration in a good and safe environment. In the autumn of 2018, new asphalt was laid on the track, and we now have one of the fastest tracks in the country - to the delight of active drivers, parents and the public. This is a really exciting and challenging sport that requires physical strength and endurance. In 2020, we started with mini-moto, which got off to a slightly slow start, but picked up sharply in 2021. In the spring of 2023, we began expanding the track in the north with a new track so that we will soon have two options. The course is also approved for both driving directions for mini road racing, but then only for training. The new track was completed with an emergency just before the race on 19.08.23 and is the preferred route for training. Chairman of the board Jan Øyvind Gravdal, deputy chairman Stian Powells, treasurer Andreas Kvamme, secretary Sveinung Zahl, board member Bjørn Tvedt, board member Carmen M. Snapa, board member Geir B. Gudvangen, board member Morten Egeland Haraldsen, deputy Hein Arve Stava.
