IAME Series Lebanon 2026 Kicks Off with Thrilling Battles at RPM Karting

The opening two rounds of the IAME Series Lebanon 2026 – Lebanese Karting Championship, organized by the Automobile et Touring Club du Liban, took place on 16 and 17 May 2026 at RPM Karting, delivering an action-packed weekend of competitive racing, close battles, and impressive performances across all categories.

Drivers showcased exceptional skill and determination throughout the weekend, as the championship officially got underway in front of teams, families, and motorsport enthusiasts. The opening rounds set the tone for what promises to be an exciting 2026 season, with intense wheel-to-wheel racing and fierce competition from the very first lights out.

In the X30 Mini Category, Chris Ayoub dominated both rounds, securing back-to-back victories. Claudio Zacca and Fadi Boulos completed the podium in Round 1, while Fadi Boulos and Ralph Boulos joined Ayoub on the podium in Round 2.

The X30 Senior Category saw David Asfahani emerge as the driver to beat after claiming victory in both rounds. In Round 1, Kyle El Hachem finished second, followed by Christy Dagher, who also claimed the distinction of 1st Female. Round 2 brought fresh competition, with Serge Antypas securing second place and Oliver Allam rounding out the podium.

The highly competitive X30 Super Shifter Category produced some of the weekend’s most spectacular battles. George Nader took victory in Round 1 ahead of Steve Asfahani, who also finished as 1st Masters, while Chant Etyemezian completed the podium. In Round 2, Steve Asfahani bounced back to take the win and once again secured 1st Masters, ahead of Youssef Bassil and George Nader.

With two rounds completed and the championship battle already heating up, anticipation is growing for the next round of the IAME Series Lebanon 2026, as drivers continue their fight for valuable championship points and the national title. Round 3 of the championship is scheduled to take place on 6 June 2026 at RPM Karting, where competitors will once again return to battle for podium positions in what promises to be another thrilling race weekend.

The opening rounds demonstrated the growing competitiveness of karting in Lebanon and highlighted the strong level of talent competing in the championship, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead.
