The X30 Junior Class kicked off the racing action at the IAME Series Sweden's Round 1 event at the Borås Motorstadion in Borås, Sweden. The category saw a thrilling competition among the young drivers, with Melvin Kalousdian emerging as the winner.
Kalousdian, representing Sweden, took the top spot on the podium with a total time of 12:42.108, setting a blistering pace with a best lap time of 50.410 seconds. The Tony Kart driver's consistency and speed earned him the top spot, leaving the competition in his wake.
Douglas Gerleman, also from Sweden, took the second spot on the podium, finishing just 0.676 seconds behind the winner. Gerleman, driving a Kosmic kart with an IAME Vortex engine, demonstrated impressive speed and control throughout the race.
Hubertus Palm, representing Sweden once again, secured the third spot on the podium, finishing 2.046 seconds behind the winner. Palm, driving an Energy kart with an IAME engine, showed great potential and promise in his first outing of the season.
The X30 Junior Class competition at the IAME Series Sweden's Round 1 event at the Borås Motorstadion showcased the incredible talent and skill of the young drivers. With the first event of the season now complete, the stage is set for an exciting season ahead.
