The second round of the IAME Euro Series took place on May 5th, 2024, at the Franciacorta Karting Track in Castelletto di Castrezzato. The event saw top drivers from across Europe compete in the X30 Mini, X30 Junior, and X30 Senior categories. Here are the final results:
X30 Mini
The X30 Mini category saw a thrilling competition, with Jamie Green Racing's Will Green taking the top spot. The British driver finished with a time of 56.018 seconds, averaging a speed of 97.7 km/h. Close behind was Spirit-Karting.CH's Bruno Parolin, who finished just 0.066 seconds behind. Fusion Motorsport's Bobreshov Maxim rounded out the top three.
X30 Junior
In the X30 Junior category, Fusion Motorsport's MACKIE Harrison took the top spot, finishing with a time of 51.040 seconds and an average speed of 115.1 km/h. Tadgh Gillard, driving for Mick Barrett Racing, finished just 0.062 seconds behind, while Riley Cranham, driving for Fusion Motorsport, took third place.
X30 Senior
The X30 Senior category saw a dominant performance from Zanchi Motorsport's Ferrari Riccardo, who finished with a time of 49.429 seconds and an average speed of 115.0 km/h. Zanchi Motorsport's Carenini Danny finished just 0.014 seconds behind, while Pantano Racing Team's Rate Andy finished third.
These results mark the end of Round 02 of the IAME Euro Series. The next round will take place on June 26th to 30th, 2024 in Wackersdorf, Germany, where drivers will compete in the X30 Mini, X30 Junior, and X30 Senior categories once again.
