IAME Series Germany kicks off the new season in Belgium

The IAME Series Germany will finally kick off the 2025 season in mid-April, after a long winter break that has created great anticipation among over 60 participants. The popular one-make cup is starting the new season on foreign soil for the first time: after many of the participants had already taken the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the unknown track in the IAME Series Benelux and the collective test, other drivers are heading to Mariembourg in Belgium for the first time. The 1,366-meter track near Couvin marks the starting point for an exciting year that spans five race weekends. Once again, the X30 Juniors and X30 Seniors classes have been announced, with the fields of participants in both classes well filled. The course is set for another exciting season.

X30 Juniors: New faces in the IAME Series Germany
There are some newcomers to the IAME Series Germany in the class for eleven to 14-year-olds. They will be competing against some well-known drivers who already have plenty of experience. A total of 22 drivers from four nations are competing, among them Ben Götz (Ebert Motorsport), who showed his best side in the IAME Series Benelux a few weeks ago, stands out. His team-mate Konstantin Titze will also have high hopes for the first weekend of the year, as will Lias Erbersdobler (Haupt Racing Team). There will also be female competition in the shape of Joelina Denzel (Haupt Racing Team). In addition to Emilio Bernd (EB-Sportpromotion) and Tom Wickop (VM Energy Corse Germany), rookies Carlos Nees (Nees Racing) and Semir Velija (DAP Lanari Racing Team) will also be among the contenders.

X30 Seniors: High-quality field for the seniors
Just under 40 participants will tackle the new year in the X30 Seniors. Last year's season opener winner could repeat his success this year, as Dutchman Kevin Lantinga (RMW Motorsport) is one of the absolute top favorites to score maximum points in the first showdown of the year. However, his German rivals will by no means make the weekend easy for him. Alongside Max Hezel (Falcon Racing Team) and Nico Hantke (VDB Kart Racing), Rocco Curcio (AT Motorsport) is one of the experienced drivers in the field who want to fight for victory. However, the favorites also include last year's title contenders from the X30 Junior class, Marius Bonconseil (Ebert Motorsport) and Lars Ramaer (Haupt Racing Team), who are looking to impress after their promotion. A surprise winner is by no means ruled out in the competitive field.

Schedule: A weekend full of racing action
Spectators and relatives of the drivers can look forward to a live stream and live timing of the DKM, in which the IAME Series Germany will once again compete after its successful debut in 2024. The weekend starts on Friday with the free practice sessions before qualifying on Saturday morning. The heats on Saturday lunchtime will be recorded in video and audio on YouTube. The entire Sunday with the super heats and finals will also be available to watch.
